However, as per the manufacturer there will be no Jelly Bean update for the Xperia Sola. That’s why, today, I am here to give Jelly Bean update for Sony Xperia Sola. I must say this is the unofficial update by Xda-developer with all the official features.
In this article, we will show you the way on how to flash unofficial Jelly Bean Stock ROM on Sony Xperia Sola with complete steps. You have to follow the tutorial carefully and make sure you don’t miss any of the steps. If you have any doubt reagrding the procedure then do inform us via the below comments box. - Device must be charged upto 80% battery.
- The device Bootloader must be unlocked.
- Root access is necessary and CWM Recovery installed on the device.
Step 1. You have to flash .54 ftf from here.
Step 2. As the flashing is completed, root your device and install CWM Recovery on it.
Step 3: After that, place the ROM file into external/internal device’s memory.
Step 4: Switch off your device.
Step 5: Now, boot into CWM Recovery/TWRP mode for further process.
Step 6: In the Recovery Mode you have to wipe complete data by choosing the “wipe data/factory reset” option and then perform complete cache wipe by choosing “advanced” options in the CWM Recovery mode and then navigate to “Wipe Dalvik Cache”.
Step 7: Return to the Recovery main menu and choose ‘install zip from SD card’ and give a path to downloaded ROM from file.
Step 8: Now, wait for few minutes for the installation process to complete. If it is completed, then again return to the Recovery main menu and from there choose ‘Reboot Now’.
Step 8: As this is the first time, you are starting the device after installing ROM, so wait for few minutes to initialize all the services and applications.
