Steps to Update Moto G (2nd Gen) to Official Android Lollipop
Step 1: Download the above OTA package and copy it to the root directory of the internal storage.
Step 2: Now, navigate to “Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Check Now”.
Step 3: You will get an update notification and click on “Yes, I’m in!”.
Step 4: Finally, click on “Install Now” to start updating your device.
Step 5: Your device will reboot and it will take 5 – 10 minutes to install the OTA package.
Step 6: Once the installation is completed successfully, your device will reboot again. Note that this boot will take longer than usual, so please don’t panic.
