1. Your mobile should have 70 – 80% battery
2. Make sure that you have enabled USB debugging. (All apps > Settings > Manage Applications > Development > USB Debugging – check box)
3. Ensure you have backed up your important data.
4. You’re phone must be rooted and CWM Recovery installed.

Step 1: Download CyanogenMod 10.1.2 ROM and and Google apps from the above link.
Step 2: After downloading copy both the files to an external SD card.
Step 3: Turn Off your phone, take out the battery and insert it back. Now, boot into ClockworkMod Recovery by pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power Key (long Press). In the Recovery mode, use the Volume keys to move up/down and the Power key to select a highlighted item.
Step 4: Firstly, you have take a backup of your current ROM so that you can restore it later, in case if anything goes wrong. Got to backup and restore > backup and wait for a few minutes to complete.
Step 5: Now, Format /system, Format /cache, Format data and then go to advanced from there Wipe Dalvik Cache.
Step 6: Return to the CWM Recovery main menu, navigate to “install zip from SD card” and select the CyanogenMod 10.1.2 ROM to install on your Galaxy Note.
Step 7: As installation of ROM get completed, then again navigate to “install zip from SD card” and select “Google apps” to install.
Step 8: Finally, go back to the main menu and select reboot system now. The phone will take 10-15 minutes to start and initialize all the services & apps because this is the first time you are starting a phone after installing CyanogenMod 10.1.2 ROM. Don’t be hesitate and wait for complete process.
