First off let me start off by addressing the question that most noobs have thrown at me.
What is boot loader unlocking and why do I need it?
Well the answer to this one is fairly simple. If you want to root your phone,if you want to install custom recoveries on it, and if you want to install a custom ROM, then you’d have to unlock your bootloader. With that done and out of the way let’s dive right in.
One more word before we begin though, the tutorial is here is being shown on a Moto E 2015. For any other pone th only thing that’ll change is the driver package. The rest all remains the same.
- A Windows PC.
- USB Cable.
- Your phone must be charged to over 80%.

This is done to check that your device is connected.
