I’m having an issue with this root method. Superuser is installing, but root access is not being granted. So, Superuser is in the App menu, but apps requiring root access aren’t working.

i have tried to root but the screen applying update dosen’t move at all !!! Its just showing as Samsung tats all :-(((

This does not work on my Galaxy Ace (Optus Australia firmware), simply nothing changes after loading update.zip and superuser is not installed.

Ofcourse it’s not!
Check the update.zip file. It’s giving “status 7” error. Thus not rooting the phone.
AVG lists as virus
