Today, in this post I will show you the way to install CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM. So, get ready to install this ROM on HTC Wildfire S. If you want to, then go on reading the post carefully!
Pre-requisites:
1. Charge you batter upto 70-80 % level.
2. Download HTC Wildfire S drivers.
3. Back-up your phone data.
4. Your device bootloader must be unlocked.
5. Device must be rooted and CWM Recovery installed.
Method to install CM 10.1 ROM for HTC Wildfire S
Step 1: Firstly, download the below files and place it into external/internal memory.
- CyanogenMod 10.1 ROM for HTC Wildfire S
- Google Apps
Step 2: Now, boot into CWM Recover/TWRP mode by pressing and holding ‘Volume down + Power Key’ for a few seconds and from there select ‘Recovery’ for further process.
Step 3: In the Recovery Mode you have to wipe complete data by choosing the “wipe data/factory reset” option and then perform complete cache wipe by choosing “advanced” options in the CWM Recovery mode and then navigate to “Wipe Dalvik Cache”.
Step 4: Return to the Recovery main menu and choose ‘install zip from SD card’ and give a path to downloaded ROM from file.
Step 5: Return to the main menu and from there again choose ‘install zip from SD card’ and give a path to Google Apps.
Step 6: Now, wait for a few minutes for the installation process to complete. If it is completed, then again returns to the Recovery main menu and from there choose ‘Reboot Now’.
Step 7: As this is the first time, you are starting the device after installing ROM, so wait for a few minutes to initialize all the services and applications.
Voila! Now you have got the Stable and Smooth Custom ROM installed on your device. I Installed android 4.2.2 On my HTC wildfire s as u directed ? But why I am not getting jelly bean apps like subway surfers and temple run 2 in my play store ? I mean i spend a night in upgrading , but havent got the apps i desired what should i do ? plz help 🙁
Download from other websites and just install it.

What can I do?
I have installed CyanogenMod 10.1 [Release Candidate v3.0] for Wildfire S and gapps-jb-4.2.2-light-20130824-signed.
I have also done a Reset dalvik cache and factory reset. But dindn’t helped.
